The Parker Returns

Parker came back, and got a pretty decent reception from the home crowd before the match. 5 minutes in and he was the enemy already!
He obviously had a point to prove (to himself probably) and thought that kicking his way around the pitch was the right way to do it. He did manage to take Makelele out of the match very early on, but you know what Scotty? We had Essien to replace him. 10 times the player you are. Good luck to you up there though!

No Owen or Seearer and Souness in charge gives you very little hope. In fact, Souness in charge full stop gives you very little chance. A wanker of the highest order.

Second half, 1-0 Joey Cole, who had an excellent game. Crespo scored a stunning goal, and to round off an excellent afternoon, the Duffer sent one goalbound in injury time, which deflected off...Scott Parker...and under the bar. 3-0!
