Colegate Charges

Well, at last, The Premier League has charged Chelsea, and Ashley Cole over the alleged tapping up row.

A lot of people have said a lot of things about the incident, but if we cut-through all of that, we can see what the outcome will actually be. Nothing. We'll all get a bit of a fine, and carry on regardless. The reason? Simply, every club does this all the time. David Dein was a very stupid man to pursue this in his position. We've heard from most quarters, that "points should be deducted". I'd like to see them try! They will not, because, if they do, we'll come out with our own little bits of information. Where shall we start?

John Terry and William Gallas, in the Spring of the season when Roman arrived, were approached twice by Arsenal. Hmmmm curious. David Dein, did you ask permission first? Didn't think so.

Eidur Gudjohnsen could go to the back of the closet and dig out his Man Utd shirt that was sent to him by Fergie as a 'Christmas gift' in 2000, complete with his name printed on the back. Man Utd have been very quiet regarding this whole situation, and that's because they know that the man with all their secrets works for us and is the target of the current investigation.

So, lets arrange the date for the hearing. Lets dish out the fines, and lets get on with the season. Then we can look forward to Stepney Ashley playing elsewhere next season, and it won't be in a Blue shirt either!
